I’m Melissa, and I am full of i.t.
Ideas and thoughts, that is. Mostly about food. Or, the hows, whys, and wherefores of life. Sharing some of them seemed like a good idea.
I have used my English degree at a couple of magazines since graduating college and, five years ago, took a detour to bake cupcakes for about a year and a half. Then, a dalliance with freelance work followed before I was a librarian-of-sorts on a neighborhood bookmobile. Currently (a.k.a. 2016) I’m surrounded by food and books working as a project editor for a cookbook publisher. I do infrequently still freelance for local publications and review books for BookPage.
My name means “honey bee” in Greek, so I’ll use that as an excuse to flit from topic to topic.
