Smitten Kitchen Strikes Again

Just in time for the weekend and a visit to my friend and cooking partner Alison, Deb (I do feel a little presumptuous using her first name when we’ve never met but other bloggers do it) posted her take on Baked’s pumpkin cinnamon rolls. Those three words were enough for us to throw our plans for making carrot cake pancakes or Smith Island cake to the ground and trample them in our zeal to make these rolls instead. They were adorable and scrumptious, and I devoured more than my carb overload alarm bells said I should, but the cream cheese glaze proved an effective silencer.

The only tweak we decided we’d make would be to add more pumpkin to make that ingredient really pack a punch, or, remove some of the cinnamon to achieve the same end.
