Tiny Tasty Tomato

Well, it’s not as tiny as a cherry tomato, but it fit neatly in my hand. This one came from our Czech’s Bush plant that I originally bought because I was told it would do well in a container. We ended up putting it in the ground anyway, next to a Brandywine, and soon added two neighbors, cherry tomatoes. The extent of our “gardening” this year, I think, will be these four tomato plants.
This ruby gem was delicious. Warm from the sun, it smelled like the earth with the slightly acidic tang we know and love about a ripe tomato. It was gone in four bites. So far, only 2 tomatoes have ripened on the vine without much real effort on our part, except watering. If anyone reading this is an expert in tomato care and growth, feel free to share your knowledge.
